S.C.B.W.I. – The national children’s writers and illustrators organization. Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. This site is filled with information. If you join, you’ll have a wealth of material about writing, publishing, editors, and more available to you.

Anastasia Suen – Anastasia Suen’s site provides information about writing classes, some of the best around. She’s excellent. I wrote NO BOWS while taking her picture book class.

Chris Eboch – Chris provides classes and individual critiques.
Harold Underdown – Harold Underdown’s site. He includes update information about publishers and editors, along with writing tips.
Verla Kay – Verla Kay’s site. She has loads of information about writing for beginners and published authors.
Write 4 Kids – Jon Bard and Laura Backes’ site, filled with valuable writing information.
Aaron Shepherd – Aaron’s site contains information about writing and school visits. This is a wonderful place to start if you are interested in writing for children.
Search for your favorite author and look over their website. Notice their writing advice.
